Hello I am Dear Mercy, music producer, artist and songwriter based in Knoxville, Tennessee. I am very passionate about music and love helping people make their music dreams come to life. Music connects us and speaks to us and our lives wouldn’t be the same without it. The world needs your music and you want your music to be the best it can be. I hold both of those ideas close to my heart when working with clients on their education or their songs.

I began my musical journey young as most do and learned how to play the guitar, and was in choir in high school. I went to Pellissippi State Community College and studied vocal pedagogy there as well as composition and graduated with an Associates Degree of Fine Arts. From there I attended Middle Tennessee State University. It was here that my musical journey would take a turn. I continued my vocal studies but started branching out into the behind the scenes of music more. It was at this time I came down with a chronic illness that would not be diagnosed for years. Through this time I was in bed a lot and took to sound design and making EDM since I could do so from the comfort of my bed. I absolutely fell in love with the process not only of creating sound and building compositions but of learning how the music I love to listen to actually becomes radio ready. How it goes from being an idea someone holds in their mind to being something I can’t get out of mine.

I am still fascinated by the process every time I do it because of the magic every song contains. Many wonderful pieces of music helped me through one of the roughest times in my life and what I learned through that time is the world needs the songs you haven’t put out yet. The songs you have to release no one else can make and I love getting to aid in that process because music is so vital to the human experience. I am proud to say that getting my chronic illnesses diagnosed has allowed me to take control of my health but more importantly has allowed me to be here to help you get your music to where you want it to be no matter where you are at now and what your music may need.

So what are you waiting for?

Let’s get started because the world needs your art.
